Bookplate: At the National Library is a cafe that believes in the simple and healthy things, done well. This applies to all aspects of their extensive food and drink offerings. Bookplate celebrates food and makes what they can by hand.
From the bar they offer fresh pressed juices, fruit smoothies, classic and craft beers and local wines. Stop by and have a chat with their highly skilled baristas who can create outstanding quality coffee and tea.
Located within the National Library of Australia, Bookplate has a warm and inviting indoor dining space as well as an outdoor terrace with magnificent panoramic views of Lake Burley Griffin.
Bookplate won the 2015 Savour ACT Restaurant and Catering Awards of Best Tourist Restaurant.
NOTE: Bookplate will be closed for renovations from May 23 - June 24 2016. During this period Paperplate Cafe will be open 7 days.
