George Washingmachine 'Feel the Manouche'
From the La Havana International Jazz Festival in Cuba to Four Winds Vineyard in Murrumbateman, George Washingmaching and his Gypsy Jazz band will perform their world music. No need to book or purchase tickets (just grab a pizza and a bottle of wine when you arrive).
Feel the Manouche is the title of the act. Manouche is a term derived from the Romany gypsies of Europe. What we in Australia call Gypsy Jazz. This group has been put together by its individual members as an exercise in small group swing. Feel The Manouche has a ‘world music’ feel. Through it’s use of double bass, guitars, accordion, fiddle & vocal, the band achieves a strong melodic groove, that can take on gypsy waltzes, swing jazz, chord and many other flavours of music from our diverse planet. We invite you to sit back and “Feel The Manouche”.
