National Police Remembrance Day 2016

National Police Remembrance Day will be commemorated with a memorial service at Kings Park near the National Carillon from 4.30pm. The service will be preceded by a display of historic police vehicles from 2.00 pm and a parade of more than 200 police officers across Kings Avenue Bridge from 3.50pm.
National Police Remembrance Day commemorates Australian police who have been killed in the line of duty.

This solemn ceremony will see the names of seven more officers added to the memorial bring the total number of police officers named on the National Police Memorial Wall to 764.

Police, family, friends and visitors are welcome at all National Police Remembrance Day events.
