Canberra's official tourism information centre run by VisitCanberra for the benefit of visitors, travellers and tourists to Canberra and the region is located on Northbourne Avenue as you drive into Canberra from either the Barton or Federal Highways.
Canberra and Region Visitors Centre (CRVC)
When driving from Sydney or Melbourne, make your first stop the Canberra and Region Visitors Centre. Meet a friendly local and get the best deals and information on things to see and do in Canberra. Parking is free, with designated space available to park caravans, camper trailers, coaches and RVs.
The centre is equipped to handle bookings over the counter and stocks tickets to blockbuster exhibitions, sport matches and other events. The centre often has short notice or last minute accommodation deals better than you can source online. Check on Fridays for the best rates on weekend accommodation.

The Visitors Centre stocks a great range of local Canberra district produce including preserves, oils, Canberra District premium wines, and more. The centre also stocks a great range of postcards, souvenirs and collectibles like snow domes, teaspoons, illustrated books, travel guides and road maps.
