Distance: 2.4 kilometres between carparks; 3.3 kilometres from the middle of Pine Island

Difficulty: Easy (also suitable for mountain bikes)

This walk starts either at either the southern car park at Pine Island Reserve or at the Point Hut Picnic Area car park. The walk passes through the Pine Island and Point Hut Crossing Reserves, providing great views of the Murrumbidgee along the way. Park Carers of the Southern Murrumbidgee carry out revegetation, weed management, erosion control and walking track maintenance along this stretch of river.
