Located just across the road from the Nishi Gallery is Palace Electric Cinema. Enjoy your film with a drink or coffee from the Prosecco Bar, or indulge in some gourmet delights from the Electric Espresso Cafe.

Amongst the buildings of NewActon are an extraordinary collection of work by contemporary artists and designers. Nationally recognised artists have designed works of art around the precinct, resulting in fascinating surprises around almost every corner.

A visit to NewActon is not complete without an encounter with Monster Kitchen and Bar, a welcome intruder on the ground floor of the spectacular Ovolo Nishi. This hatted, award-winning restaurant represents the perfect blend of simplicity, quality and artisan luxe. Seasonal ingredients, an impressive wine list and impeccable service combine to create an unforgettable dining experience.

Močan & Green Grout is a popular spot for a great cup of coffee or a delicious meal. Močan & Green Grout was conceived as a place that evokes the warmth and familiarity of eating in a good friend’s kitchen. The dinner menu is a collection of shared dishes inspired by world cooking traditions that change every week, and the ethical cafe serves fair trade coffee and uses local produce and herbs grown in a planter by the front door.

Nearby, traditional Italian restaurant Bicicletta, found within Peppers Gallery Hotel Canberra, remains a favourite dining option for breakfast, lunch and dinner with a range of delicious produce sourced from local suppliers as well as from Italy.
