Chifley's Bar & Grill, a modern Australian steakhouse, located within the historic Hotel Kurrajong Canberra, is named after the 16th Prime Minister of Australia Ben Chifley. The steakhouse features premium beef and locally foraged seasonal produce. Chifley's actively adopts a paddock to plate philosophy to ensure freshness and flavour for its customers. The stand alone steak menu offers 18 different cuts including David Blackmore Wagyu and Cape Grim Black Angus.

We ate their on numerous occasions, breakfast and dinner. The selection was ample, quality of food excellent and service fast and efficient.

As early risers we were at the Restaurant for breakfast at the advertised opening time of 7.00...

Met with two friends for dinner; limited food menu but everything cooked beautifully (steak, lamb rogan josh and organic pasta) and attentive staff. Good selection of wines. Meals came very quickly...
