Canberra Racing Carnival 2020
Black Opal Stakes Day has a long-established place in the Canberra community calendar and again takes place on the Sunday of the long weekend. The second race day, on the Monday of the long weekend, will be headlined by the historical Canberra Cup.
These two days will have distinct and unique identities with the Black Opal Stakes Race Day remaining as a celebration of fashion and everything fine while Canberra Cup Race Day will have a focus on families and everything Canberran.
The John McGrath Black Opal Stakes Race Day will feature DJs, a live band, on-course entertainment and top-class racing.
The TAB Canberra Cup Race Day will play host to a number of show rides, pony rides, face painters, a children's band and plenty more. Entry for u18's is free!
