Treasures in Timber Exhibition and Sale

Treasures in Timber Exhibition and Sale

Discover the finest work of the ACT Woodcraft Guild at their annual ‘Treasures in Timber’ exhibition and sales event.

This exhibition showcases the diverse woodcraft items made by Guild members, from detailed musical instruments to delicate bowls and beautiful toys. Seize the opportunity to purchase beautiful, hand-crafted items made locally from a diverse range of timbers.

There will be free demonstrations from Guild members across the long weekend. Come and see how bowls are turned, how spoons are carved, what it takes to crate a violin or how to 'draw' beautiful images using pyrography.

Want something to do with the kids? Visit the construct a toy workshop area at the exhibition and assemble one of the different toy kits on offer or make a spinning top.

The Guild is an organisation of people based in the ACT and surrounding region who love wood and love to make things with it. Its members come from diverse backgrounds, ages and levels of expertise. Come along to meet Guild members and find out more!
