Overview

End Anzac Day by attending the Australian War Memorial’s Last Post Ceremony.

To mark the 109th anniversary of the Gallipoli landings, the Last Post Ceremony on Anzac Day shares the story of an Australian who served and died during the First World War.

The Last Post Ceremony will begin at 4.30 pm.

This moving public event invites visitors to reflect on the sacrifices made by Australian servicemen and servicewomen, and concludes with the sounding of the Last Post.

Free tickets are required for all visitors (including minors) to attend the Last Post Ceremony and enter the Memorial's galleries.

Due to limited capacity, bookings are recommended in advance via the website to guarantee entry.

Please note, the Memorial's galleries will open at 1pm on Anzac Day.

For more information about the Anzac Day Last Post Ceremony, Anzac Day traditions, and getting to the Memorial, visit the Australian War Memorial website.
