Surrounded by vast fields and the towering Brindabellas, the gardens at Lanyon are a beautiful place to relax.

The area around the Homestead once contained productive gardens to feed all who lived and worked there. Over time, as Canberra grew up, ornamental gardens were planted.

This year, these gardens feature a specially designed garden bed for Floriade – Art in Bloom, inspired by the work of Sidney Nolan, who was so entranced by Lanyon.
