Blue Range Campground
Blue Range Campground
Overview
Blue Range Campground is centred around Blue Range Hut, the heritage-listed remains of a World War II internment camp. The campground is a very popular destination for camping and organised events. You can book individually for small groups or hire the whole area for large gatherings.
Facilities at the campground include accessible drop toilets, wood-fired barbecues, picnic tables, and a shared gas barbecue located near the hut. The surrounding area is well-suited to a range of recreational activities, including picnicking, horse riding, cycling, and bushwalking.
Blue Range Campground is approximately 45 minutes west of Canberra City Centre, 3.2 kilometres along East-West Road, off Brindabella Road.
Bookings are essential. Community groups, schools, organised groups, and commercial operators are required to obtain a permit. For further information, please contact the Namadgi Visitor Centre.
Dogs are permitted but must be kept on a lead at all times.
