AIS Athletes Village - Australian Institute of Sport

Imagine wandering the hallways of the AIS Athletes Village, where some of Australia’s greatest athletes — such as Lauren Jackson, Patty Mills and Michael Klim — lived and dreamed while they chased Olympic glory.

Well, now you no longer need to imagine — you can experience it. The AIS is open for the public (including sporting clubs, schools and community groups) to stay on site and experience Australia’s premier elite sports precinct.

Whether it is one night or a long-term stay (including institutions and corporate), a variety of accommodation options are available in our two residential complexes.

The AIS Athletes Village caters for groups of all sizes, with capacity for up to 500 guests.

Guests usually stay in single-room accommodation, with communal living room and bathroom facilities. Self-contained units are also available on request.

Close to the central business district, Canberra's attractions, Belconnen's shopping centre, educational institutions and hospital. Secure access, 24-hour security and free parking.
