Overview

Jamala Wildlife Lodge is Canberra’s first, all-inclusive luxury accommodation experience.

Located within the grounds of the National Zoo and Aquarium, Jamala boasts 18 rooms throughout three 5-star, African-inspired accommodation hubs, specifically designed to provide guests with a unique and interactive experience with some of the zoo’s most amazing residents.

Choose to spend the night only metres away from Lions, Bears, Cheetahs or Tigers in the Jungle Bungalows, or relax on the balcony of the Giraffe Tree House as you marvel at the size and beauty of your new giant friends.

Or why not stay in the uShaka Lodge, offering guests the opportunity to immerse themselves in luxurious surroundings whilst enjoying the company of the curious and captivating Colobus Monkeys and the graceful inhabitants of the 200,000-litre shark tank.

This incredible and immersive experience also treats guests to two amazing, exclusive zoo tours that encounter some of the zoo’s rarest, largest and most dangerous inhabitants.

All-inclusive fine dining featuring sunset canapés and drinks, a three-course, gourmet African-inspired meal with fellow guests and a freshly prepared breakfast is the perfect complement to this once-in-a-lifetime accommodation adventure.
