Overview
Nestled at the head of the Molonglo floodplain, flanked by mountains and surrounded by farmland, arriving at Foxlow is like being transported to another era.
Established around 1835, Foxlow is full of timeless charm and Australian history. Foxlow is located 20 minutes from Bungendore New South Wales, 40 minutes from Canberra and 3.5 hours from Sydney.
The Homestead and buildings are surrounded by Elm and Oak parklands that look over the wildflower meadow towards the Molonglo River.
The Quarters:
Built in 1835 from local stone, beautifully renovated the two self contained suites are available all year round for intimate getaways and become exclusively yours during private farm stays or event bookings.
The Homestead:
Surrounded by sprawling oak and elm parklands, the homestead can be booked for seasonal events or private stays. Sleeping 12 people total, the 1920’s renovated homestead includes grand entertaining rooms, modern kitchen, three bathrooms, guest lounges and more. Retreat to an idyllic country home for special celebrations and gatherings.
The Barn:
Know as the the original Foxlow Shearing Shed, The Barn was built around 1835 and was one of the first dwellings built during the time of settlement. Now undergoing full-scale renovation, the two story, five bedroom, two bathroom, stone building boast two full scale kitchens, grand dining room and entertaining lounge.
