The Markets are a local institution and Canberra’s oldest market.
Offering unparalleled quality, range and convenience in one location, the Markets are open each Thursday to Sunday from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.
A fresh food market, the majority of retail space is dedicated to the sale of fresh produce, including fruit and vegetables, meats, seafood, delicatessens and bakery products. There is also a wide variety of specialty stores, including an Asian grocery, health food shop, wine and liquor store and Niche Markets.
All locally and independently owned, the stallholders and their staff have a level of knowledge, experience and concern for their customers that provides a charming market feel.

Reviewed 8mos ago by Tamsin HTerrific market with great shops. Delis, fruit and veg, seafood and cafes and food stalls. A great place to spend an hour or two browsing and buying! There's a Lifeline bookshop too - fabulous 😍
