Overview
Stromlo Forest Park is Australia’s premier multi-use recreational sporting facility situated in the heart of the Molonglo Valley in the nation’s capital, Canberra. Set on 1200 hectares, Stromlo is surrounded by spectacular views and pristine waterways. Only 15 minutes from the city centre, the Park has something for everyone, from recreational to professional users.
Boasting a purpose-built event pavilion, a 1.2 kilometres criterium cycling circuit, a 2.5 kilometres grass cross country running track, a network of equestrian trails, pump track and over 50km of mountain bike trails suitable for riders of all abilities. Both the Centenary Trail and Bicentennial National Trail pass through the Park, and there are kilometres of shared trails for those wanting to explore on foot as well.
Adjacent to the main carpark is a cafe/bar and bike hire for all of your pre and post activity needs. Get the most out of your visit using the award-winning Stromlo Shuttle Bus service with 11 runs per day and over 15 ways to descend the mountain.

“Great trails!”
Lots of tracks for all levels. Only given it a 4 as the signs were confusing and we wasted a lot of time working it all out. But once we worked it out, it was lots of fun.

riding and walking these trails is brilliant. Lots of wallabies and roos. Birdlife is everywhere. A great spot to relax and take in nature.
