Black Mountain
Black Mountain is the most diverse of Canberra’s nature parks. It houses 100 species of birds, 500 species of plants and 5000 species of insects. The wildflowers in spring and early summer are beautiful. You may even surprise reptiles sunning themselves on the path.

“Great views available even from car park”
I had a wet / sunny afternoon spare and decided to drive up to the Telstra tower. Not much to do there but a car park half way down offered some great views back towards Parliment house.
