Beaver Galleries is Canberra's largest privately owned commercial gallery. This well established and highly regarded gallery features outstanding pieces by contemporary Australian artists.

Works include painting, sculpture, printmaking, ceramics and glass. All artwork is for sale.

Do not miss their courtyard sculpture garden. The gallery shop has beautiful products from leading Australian craft artists and jewellers.

The fully licensed cafe, run by innovative young chef David Lockwood, offers both indoor and courtyard dining. theKitchen presents a vibrant and creative all-day menu with an emphasis on seasonal, organic and sustainable produce along with a selective wine list focusing on local wineries. Superb house made cakes and pastries are perfectly accompanied by coffee using artisan wood-fired roasted beans. Lunch bookings are recommended.

This was our second attempt at brunch at the Gallery's cafe. Sadly, it was not very good, again.

David made both of us delicious food that was fastidiously presented. The place was noisy because of all the local ladies who were having lunch and talking to each other.
