PhotoAccess
Overview
PhotoAccess is a unique space for making, sharing and discovering creative photography and photo-based art. It's a place where locals, interstate and overseas visitors gather to explore how contemporary image-making shapes the world.
Located at the Manuka Arts Centre, PhotoAccess presents a dynamic program of exhibitions featuring emerging and established Australian photographers and photo-artists, together with accessible talks, events and performances.
PhotoAccess also offers photography courses and workshops, ranging from a few hours to several weeks and from introductory camera skills to conceptual photo-media. This incorporated non-profit community association offers the Canberra region's only publicly accessible darkroom, a digital lab and leafy garden and attractive indoor venues for events and functions.
