Discover the natural beauty and lovely heritage of picturesque Tumut on several delightful walking trails. Pop into the Tumut Region Visitor Information Centre in Tumut and pick up helpful tips on various walks around the town, in the northern foothills of the spectacular NSW Snowy Mountains.

The Tumut River Walk meanders through Tumut's pretty parks alongside the river, a popular waterway for fishing and kayaking. There are several access points to the walk, so you can make it as long or as short as you like. The walk includes the Tumut Wetlands, home to many bird species.
