Overview
Converted from an old dough mixing room, the Mixing Room Gallery provides a unique space for Canberra design and arts community.
The Gallery hosts exhibitions and events which share Thor's Hammer values, including sustainability, design and recycling. The space also displays a beautiful range of Australian hardwood furniture designs made downstairs in the workshop by Thor's Hammer artisans and designers.
Located in the old TipTop bread dough mixing room, the Gallery was renovated by patching and lightly polishing the concrete floors, stripping tiles and steel off the walls and exposing the trusses above. It has a spacious and industrial feel.
