Lake Ginninderra District Park is a spacious lakeside recreation area in Belconnen, offering plenty of ways to enjoy the outdoors close to Canberra's town centre.

Relax by the water, enjoy a picnic or barbecue beneath established trees, or explore the park's walking trails and shoreline cycle path. Sandy beaches and designated swimming areas provide access to the lake, while fishing jetties, playgrounds, a boat ramp and canoe and kayak entry points offer more ways to spend time outdoors. The park is also home to a variety of waterbirds and includes wetlands and semi-natural landscapes to explore.

Around the lake, visitors can discover John Knight Memorial Park, Belconnen Skate Park and a learn-to-ride centre, along with picnic areas and recreational facilities.
