Overview

Saddle up for a big day of rodeo action when the Goulburn Rodeo returns to the Goulburn Rodeo Grounds.

Around 450 competitors from across New South Wales and Queensland are expected to compete at one of Australia's oldest-running rodeos, with gates opening from 9am.

The action-packed program features bull riding, bronc riding, roping and barrel racing, alongside junior events giving younger competitors the opportunity to take to the same arena.

Special events include the Wayne Robson Memorial Novice Bull Ride, honouring Wayne's contribution and passion for the sport, and the Novice Saddle Bronc, where riders compete for the Reg Willoughby Buckle in recognition of the club life member's longstanding association with rodeo.

There is plenty happening beyond the arena too, with kids' entertainment, a comedy clown and trade stalls helping make the Goulburn Rodeo a great day out for the whole family.

The rodeo is held at the Goulburn Rodeo Grounds on Braidwood Road, with proceeds supporting local charities and community organisations.

Proudly supported by Goulburn Mulwaree Council.
