Overview
SpringOUT is Canberra’s only pride festival. Held in November each year, a month-long festival that celebrates Australia’s most LGBTQIA+ friendly city and Canberra's LGBTQIA+ community in all its fabulous diversity.
It’s time to SpringOUT with 'PRIDE in the Capital' on their 25th Anniversary in 2024!
Throughout November, Canberra's annual SpringOUT festival showcases a diverse array of events that celebrate Canberra’s LGBTQIA+ community. There are free and low-cost events, so don't miss out.
Events include their opening event, Meridian and SpringOUT Fair Day. Then later, celebrate STUN Magazine’s George Michael party with Sexy Galexy. The Famous Pink Tennis Bush Dance, which sells out every year. SpringOUT will host their second-Pride Rugby Match with ACT Veterans Rugby. There will be a women's Rugby Match not to be missed! Explore Exhibitions, Theatre, Dance, Guided Walks. There will be workshops, the 'Lets Talk About' Series debut at CMAG. Experience Questacon at night and SCREEN Canberra Symposium at the NFSA.
Enjoy a night of laughter with Hollywood -Aussie comedienne and musician Jackie Loeb. Don't miss Qwire's Annual Concert. Participate in the Pride Run with Canberra Frontrunners.
There’s the Big Gay Breakfast with Fuse Magazine. Experience the amazing talent of the Briefs Boys Drag at the Canberra Theatre, and dance all night to original Heaven DJs at the Heaven Nightclub Reunion Party at the Vault.
