The Hive is swinging into spring with live music back in its garden space after a winter break. To launch the warmer season, acclaimed singer-songwriter and instrumentalist Garth Prentice brings Prentice: The Lucky One Tour to Queanbeyan.

As the Southern Tablelands Arts Artist in Residence for 2024 and a standout on Highlands FM's 100% Home-Grown series, Prentice is celebrated for his versatility and artistry. His new EP, Covid Chronicles, is an emotionally layered collection weaving stories of success, frustration, love, and loss. Moving between pub-rock, country ballads, blues, and witty storytelling, the EP highlights his depth as a songwriter and performer.

Set in the grounds of a heritage-listed cottage in the heart of Queanbeyan, The Hive offers a boutique venue for live music. This event also marks the launch of its refurbished pergola bar area, creating the perfect place to enjoy a spring evening under the stars. Presented by not-for-profit Create Collaborate Collective Inc (CCC Inc), the night will feature a fundraising bar and food options announced closer to the date.

Special guest support comes from Wiradjuri musician Jerikye Williams, whose charisma and love of 1950s and 60s rock'n'roll will add extra spark to this spring season opener.
