Pick up a bargain this year at the Late-night Christmas shopping at the National Library Bookshop!

Stock up on Christmas gifts at the Bookshop sale tables in the Library foyer where you will find sale items that have been discounted up to 50 per cent off. For a gold coin donation, Santa’s helpers will also be there to wrap any gifts you buy. Sale tables will remain in the foyer from Thursday 5 December to Tuesday 24 December. There will be no further discount on these ‘prices as marked’ sale items.

6 pm - An author talk and book signing from noted fantasy fiction author Isobelle Carmody with the local launch for her new Canberra-based book 'Comes the Night'

7 pm - Launch announcement for the Summer edition of 'MEANJIN' with an author talk and signing
