Overview

Join the National Museum of Australia (NMA) for Making Music in recognition of the United Nation’s International Day of People with Disability.

Participate in an instrument-making workshop with Hands-On Studio, be part of a playshop with Music for Canberra or take a tour of Breathing Space with Museum educators in the Garden of Australian Dreams – suitable for all ages and abilities!

With free entry all day to the Tim & Gina Fairfax Discovery Centre and free activations for all ages, this will be a welcoming day for everyone.

Children from birth to six years (and their accompanying adults) are welcome to play for free across the day in the Tim & Gina Fairfax Discovery Centre play and learn space. To ensure a comfortable experience, there will be lowered capacity and reduced audiovisual components. Bookings are required for some activities and conditions of entry apply, see the website for details.
