Overview

Families are invited to gather in the beautiful Senate Courtyard to celebrate World Children's Day with outdoor play and activities.

Visitors can enjoy crafting under the pergola, settle in for story time in the sunshine, or take part in friendly challenges such as an egg and spoon race or a game of badminton. There will be opportunities to build with blocks, practise skipping, or simply relax together as a family. Guests are encouraged to bring a nut-free picnic and make a day of it.

For those needing a break from the sun—or in the case of wet weather—PlayUP will be open and running facilitated craft sessions from 10:30am to 12:30pm.

Families are reminded to bring hats and water bottles for a fun and comfortable day of play.
