The Australian Yarn Show returns to Hotel Realm, Canberra, bringing together yarn lovers, fibre artists, designers, growers, dyers and small businesses from across Australia for two inspiring days of creativity, learning and community.

Whether you're an experienced maker, a curious beginner, or simply love the world of handmade textiles, the Australian Yarn Show is your gateway to knitting, crochet, weaving, spinning, embroidery, wool production and fibre arts in all their forms.

Across the weekend, attendees can enjoy a full Main Stage program featuring talks, demonstrations, panel discussions and competitions, alongside a vibrant market hall showcasing some of Australia's best yarn producers, indie dyers, pattern designers, tool makers and textile artists.

The 2026 Show also features an extensive program of hands-on workshops, including knitting, crochet, Tunisian crochet, embroidery, weaving, spinning and felting sessions, led by respected Australian educators. Workshop tickets are on sale now!

Saturday offers a high-energy atmosphere with first access to the market hall, free knitting and crochet clinics, competitions and a buzzing program of talks.

Sunday provides a more relaxed and spacious experience, ideal for leisurely shopping, deeper conversations with stallholders and skill-building sessions focused on sustainability and fibre knowledge.
