Sunflower Maze

Walking through the sunflowers

Overview

The Majura Valley Farm Sunflower Maze sits just ten minutes from Canberra's CBD, on the grounds of Majura House, the ACT's oldest working farm. Each autumn, we open the gates so visitors can experience the season on a real farm, not far from the city.

Every March, guests can wander among vibrant sunflower plantings and enjoy a unique rural retreat close to the city. Although this year's bloom is smaller due to dry conditions, the visit promises much more than just the maze.

Enjoy lawn games, up-close animal encounters, and a sculpture walk through the paddocks. There's afternoon music, and as the sun drops behind the mountains, enjoy some of our favourite local wines and beers. It's a relaxed, welcoming spot for families, couples, and anyone keen to spend time on the farm.

Visit the daily farm gate shop for farm-fresh produce and locally crafted goods, delivering an authentic paddock-to-plate experience.

The Majura Valley Farm Sunflower Maze delivers an authentic agritourism adventure, blending agriculture, scenery, food, and community.
