Unconformity Geology Tour
Overview
Join expert geologists from Geoscience Australia on a tour. Together you will explore the phenomenon called an ‘Unconformity’ – an ancient rock formation where two rock masses, made millions of years apart, joined. It is a fascinating piece of the puzzle which helps you to understand the earth in the Canberra region.
This tour only runs twice a year so don’t miss the rare opportunity to see this geological formation.
Take advantage of free underground parking at Parliament House from 5 pm to midnight, subject to availability, throughout the Enlighten Festival.
