Overview

This World Oceans Day, come along to Questacon to learn more about the Great Barrier Reef.

The Great Barrier Reef is one of the world's natural wonders and is the largest coral reef on Earth.
Using a virtual reality headset, you can dive into the world's largest Reef and learn about its amazing biodiversity, as well as some of the challenges it is facing, and how the government is addressing these threats using the latest science innovations.

It's the best way to visit the Reef without getting wet!

Staff from the Australian Governments Reef Trust team will be attending to showcase this exciting interactive Great Barrier Reef experience.

The Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Reef Guardian School Program will be there too, running an activity where you can learn how to identify different turtle species.
