Reflection: 50 Years of the Australian Honours System is now on at the Royal Australian Mint.
The Australian honours system recognises the outstanding service and contributions of Australians making a difference. To those who dedicate themselves to improving local communities, demonstrating courage and bravery, and serving in response to nationally significant emergencies.
See rare coins, medals and medallions from the National Coin Collection, including the 1879 International Exhibition Sydney Medallion and Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II 50c Silver Proof Coin. Displays from the Government House include the Cross of Valour and 80th Anniversary of Armistice Remembrance Medal.
