Overview

Winter Festival is the flagship event of the Canberra region's truffle season. A celebration of all things cool-climate including the finest olive oils, new vintage wines, locally grown winter fruit and vegetables and, of course, truffles!

Winter Festival is here to embrace the cold with a Bonfire Night on Friday, Winter Market on Saturday, and a program of ticketed events on Sunday designed to inspire you to get creative with locally grown produce, and maybe even get your hands dirty on a truffle hunt!

This three day festival draws attention to the beautiful winter season experiences available in and around the Canberra Region, highlighting for visitors the seasonality of our local food production and particularly that of the fresh, high value black truffle.

The Festival works with truffle growers, chefs, accommodation providers, wineries and cooking schools to put a spotlight on Canberra's fabulous Winter food culture, highlighting for visitors the availability of a range of high quality food experiences.

The Winter Festival is auspiced by Southern Harvest Association: a local food and farming co-operative.
