Overview

Join local artist Helen Cattell from Good Hope Pottery for a hands-on workshop where you'll create three unique pendant designs using stoneware clay in the stunning Tootsie Gallery Cafe. Helen will guide you through shaping and engraving your pendants with the help of pottery tools and stamps, allowing you to experiment with textures and patterns, all while connecting with a welcoming creative community.

Once your designs are complete, you'll decorate each pendant using three coats of underglaze, choosing from a vibrant selection of colours to make each piece uniquely yours.
After the workshop, the pendants will be left to dry for a couple of days. Helen will then collect them and take them back to her studio at Good Hope for the firing process. Each piece will undergo a bisque firing, followed by the application of three coats of clear glaze, and then a final glaze firing to achieve a glossy, durable finish.

Once complete, your colourful pendants will be strung and ready to wear.
