Overview

Step into Inferno – an exciting new audiovisual installation by Paris-based Australian artist, Mikaela Stafford.

Commissioned by the NFSA, and created in response to her experience as a resident artist, Inferno is a sci-fi reverie that is eerie and ethereal; alien, yet earthly. The work is heightened by a genre-bending, techno-transcendental soundscape created by composer and sound designer Kate Durman.

Enjoy this epic new digital artwork which meditates on how memory, identity and existence are shaped in the digital age.

Warning: Inferno contains strobing visual effects.
