Overview

The Australian Institute of Architects' ACT Chapter and the National Film and Sound Archive are proud to present the 2025 Contemporary Australian Architects Speaker Series. Now in its 37th year, this annual program explores innovative ideas in design, art, and architecture, while addressing issues shaping Australian communities, the profession, and society.

The series showcases the work and vision of leading architects from across the country including:

Chris Haddad RAIA and Josh FitzGerald RAIA, Archier (Hobart, Melbourne)
Suzannah Waldron RAIA, Searle x Waldron Architecture (Melbourne)
Tina Tziallas FRAIA, Tziallas Architects (Southern Highlands)
Shaun Lockyer FRAIA, Shaun Lockyer Architects (Brisbane)

Supported by Eifer, the 2025 program makes these thought-provoking conversations more accessible, with reduced ticket prices encouraging broad community engagement in discussions about our built environment.

Audiences are invited to arrive from 5pm to enjoy the NFSA's heritage courtyard, meet fellow attendees, and relax before each lecture. Drinks and nibbles will be available for purchase from Dom's, the on-site deli and bar, open until 8pm.
