Overview

Meet some of the furry, flying, fierce and fun creatures that live in the art collections at Parliament House. From tails to scales, the Animals in the Parliament House Art Collections exhibition is ready to be explored.

This free exhibition showcases how some of Australia's best-known contemporary artists depict animals through art. You will see a wide range of creative mediums including printmaking, sculpture, painting and photography.

  • Caters for people who are deaf or have hearing loss.
  • Caters for people with sufficient mobility to climb a few steps but who would benefit from fixtures to aid balance. (This includes people using walking frames and mobility aids)
  • Caters for people with high support needs who travel with a support person.
  • Caters for people with allergies and intolerances.
