Overview

Learn how to make cocktails the Underground way — in teapots. Join Canberra's own Underground Spirits for a creative, hands-on workshop that celebrates the art of mixology, storytelling, and local flavour.

In this 1.5-hour session, guests will discover how to craft two of Underground's signature cocktails — The Watermelon Slide, a Floriade favourite, and The Garden, a taste of springtime in a teapot made with wine from local winery Contentious Character. You'll shake, stir, and pour your own creations, enjoy a few high tea treats, and take home mini bottles and printed recipes to recreate the magic at home.

This experience is part of Discover Spirits CBR, a regional celebration of distilling excellence proudly presented in partnership with Visit Canberra and hosted at the Canberra and Region Visitors Centre, overlooking beautiful Lake Burley Griffin. It's a chance to meet the makers, learn new cocktail skills, and taste the spirit of Canberra in every sip.
