Overview
Spark your child's creativity at the National Archives' school holiday program inspired by their new exhibition In real life: inventors, innovators and opportunists.
In the craft session, children will first design their own spacecraft on paper and then create a 3D prototype using a variety of craft materials.
Afterwards, enjoy lunch at Cafe Constitution or explore the permanent galleries.
Finish the day with a screening of the family-friendly Australian film, Paper Planes, complete with popcorn!
The program is for children aged 7 to 12, who must be accompanied by an adult. Only children require tickets – parents or guardians can join for free. You can also book tickets for either activity.
If you're an NAA Member, remember to enter your member promotional code during registration to enjoy this program for free!
National Archives is committed to the Commonwealth Child Safe Framework, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
