Mintventures: Calling all budding designers! What coin would you make?

Three children with a guide and titan the robot pouring coins

Overview

A lot of work goes into designing a coin. Sixty years ago Stuart Devlin's iconic animal designs were released on Australia's new decimal coins.

What would you name Australia's currency? What shape, metal and design would you choose? Join a celebration of Australia's circulating coins. Look at the stories behind these coins and then have you design your own.

All children must be accompanied by an adult, and bookings are essential.
Each ticket is for one child and includes the accompanying adult.
This program is aimed at children aged 7-12 years.
