Join friendly educators for a guided forest and craft experience where children can awaken their curiosity as they wander through the 100‑year‑old, heritage‑listed Cork Oak Forest.

Uncover the fascinating plants, fungi, and tiny creatures that call this unique forest home, encouraging kids to look closely at nature's smallest wonders hidden in the forest floor. After discovering the magic of mushrooms and mini‑beasts, children settle beneath the trees to create their own nature‑inspired craft, inspired by the mushrooms and mini-beasts found along the way.

Throughout the experience, young explorers will learn what's safe to touch and what's best admired from a distance, building both confidence and respect for the natural world.

The Cork Oak forest is accessible via an uneven, gravel path through the forest. For a more mobility accessible option, please get in touch!

Important Information:
Family fun, recommended for ages 4-8 years.
This is a family walk, and they request that parents/carers stay and join in the fun!
Please ensure participants have a drink bottle, a sun hat and are dressed for the weather.
Nearest toilet facilities are at the Himalayan Cedar Forest and Village Centre.
