Overview

Wild for Change weekend at the National Zoo & Aquarium invites visitors to take action for the planet while enjoying a range of experiences.
Guests can explore wild discoveries, including enrichment building sessions with the zoo team and a refreshed penguin keeper talk on the impact of litter on wildlife. Visitors can also learn how small everyday choices can reduce environmental impact.
Throughout the weekend, guests can join the clean up your environment challenge by bringing a reusable coffee cup or buying one from the bistro to enjoy a dedicated DIY coffee station. This challenge also presents the opportunity for guests to go into the running to win a special zoo prize. The weekend encourages learning, engagement and connection with conservation in a sustainable and welcoming way.
