Overview
Teens will dive into the creative world of webtoons in this extended illustration workshop. Illustrator and designer Lucius Ha will introduce the key features of the form, including the signature vertical storytelling format that defines the genre.
Participants will build skills in character design, background illustration and simple narrative structures, while learning how expressions, motion lines and dramatic close ups are used in webtoons to show emotion and action.
With these foundations, teens will then create their own webtoon-style comic strip, experimenting with layout, transitions and story flow.
Suitable for teens aged 14–18 years. Teens must be accompanied by an adult.
Spaces are limited, bookings essential.
