Overview

Celebrate the work of visionary filmmaker Paul Thomas Anderson with a special double feature at the NFSA's Arc Cinema. From the quirky, heartfelt romance of Punch-Drunk Love to the sweeping ambition and ruthless power struggles of There Will Be Blood, this Director Spotlight showcases the extraordinary range of one of contemporary cinema's most influential auteurs.

Beginning at 6pm with Punch-Drunk Love (2002), starring Adam Sandler in a critically acclaimed dramatic role, and continuing at 8pm with the Oscar-winning epic There Will Be Blood (2007), this double feature explores themes of love, loneliness, ambition and obsession through two of Anderson's most celebrated films.

Whether you're a long-time admirer of Anderson's work or discovering his films for the first time, this is a rare opportunity to experience these modern classics on the big screen.

Double Feature Passes are available, with individual tickets also offered for single screenings.
