Overview

Rusten House Art Centre presents an exhibition of mixed media artworks and oil paintings.

The exhibition title, Rethinking Disrupted Certainties, brings together the distinct expressions of Ian Ireland, David Chatto and Dennis Mortimer in exploring a shared concern for the turmoil people endure as disruptive events prompt them to rethink their place in spaces they once inhabited with confidence.

Ian, David and Dennis have exhibited individually and in groups; this is their first collaboration. They work out of the Bunker Arts Studio in Queanbeyan and their own studios. Ian works across multimedia, while David's practice has encompassed printmaking and glass, more recently focusing on oil painting. Dennis works across a range of mediums and has also chosen oils for this series.
