Overview

To mark the beginning of the 2026 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence campaign, the façade of Australian Parliament House in Canberra will be illuminated in orange.

The international campaign raises awareness of violence against women and girls and encourages action towards lasting change.

Orange is the international campaign colour, symbolising hope, optimism and a future free from violence against women and girls.
