Clonakilla Wines

Overview
Celebrated as one of the best wineries in Australia, Clonakilla is a small, family business dedicated to producing distinctive, handcrafted Canberra region wines in limited quantities. Their wines have consistently earned critical acclaim, with Tim Kirk named Gourmet Traveller Wines' Winemaker of the Year in 2013.
A new Clonakilla cellar door opened in 2016. Relax surrounded by local stone, reclaimed timbers, deconstructed wine barrels and a large fireplace. Look up from the tasting bar through the vineyards to the renovated Clonakilla windmill at the top of the hill. It’s the perfect place to encounter the Clonakilla story, to taste what this landscape has to say through the medium of wine.
Established by the Kirk family at Murrumbateman in 1971, Clonakilla is a 30 minute drive from the Canberra city centre.
