Overview

Mount Majura is a leader in the Canberra District and the country for the Spanish varietal Tempranillo. Their single vineyard site of red clay loam soils containing limestone also produces high quality Riesling and Shiraz along with success from experimental varietals such as Graciano and Mondeuse.

Mount Majura Vineyard is a winery and vineyard. Their cellar door features a seated tasting
allowing an interactive yet relaxing tasting experience. Bookings can be made on their website so be sure to book to avoid disappointment.

Self guided 'gumboot tours' through the vineyard provide a more active option, allowing participants to learn more about viticulture.

Cheese and regional tasting platters accompany the tastings. There is no restaurant or cafe on site.
